PALACE TURN TO COLE FOR GOALS
Crystal Palace are ready to turn to veteran striker Carlton Cole in a bid to improve their anaemic strike-force, according to the Mirror .
The Eagles have failed to hit the net in their first six Premier League outings, and lie rock-bottom after a dreadful start to the season.
And with Christian Benteke now injured and Palace left without a single fit striker, Roy Hodgson is considering 33-year-old free agent Cole as a stop-gap solution.
Cole last played in the Premier League for West Ham back in 2015, before leaving first for the USL's Sacramento and later for Persib Bandung in Indonesia.
